SpinetiX wins "Best digital signage product of the year 2011" of AV awards

Digital Signage Product of the Year category awarded to HMP200 Hyper Media Player and Fusion Software
Swiss digital signage innovators, SpinetiX took home an AV Award for their HMP200 Hyper Media Player and Fusion Software in the Digital Signage Product of the Year category. The AV Awards was held in front of a packed audience of 800 industry guests on Friday, 30 September 2011 at the Hilton Park Lane, London.
SpinetiX was shortlisted against stiff competition and a high quantity of entrants in this category, which was further shortlisted against three category finalists. The awards were judged by an impressive panel, comprising expert and independent users, consultants and integrators and the judging process was overseen by the editorial board at AV and AV Europe magazine.
The HMP200 is a small and robust full HD high-end digital signage device for display of information and can be used for advanced applications such as kiosks and video walls of any size or shape. It’s based on open standards and protocols, uses only 6W power consumption and has a product life-time warranty, ensuring return on investment for users.  The browser-based Fusion software is embedded in the player and enables digital signage content to be published instantly and without further software installation.
Perhaps the best recognition on the night was from end user, Neil Martin, Global Head of Media Services at Barclays Global Retail Banking Technology who specifically congratulated SpinetiX on their win. “We’ve used around 80 SpinetiX players in our staff elevators and public areas at our London offices. We’re an early adopter and we find their technology to be exceptional and so easy to use, configure and update. I’m also delighted to see that a relatively new technology company such as SpinetiX has received very deserved recognition for their award.”
He adds, “The AV Awards ceremony serves as recognition of the industry’s premium innovation and it’s great to be involved as an user of award winning technology.”
