By creating and integrating state-of-the-art hardware and software technologies, SpinetiX' high quality solutions simplify the access, distribution and manipulation of digital media in real-time. Cost reduction and interoperability with technology standards are SpinetiX constant focus.

SpinetiX' leaders previously founded and managed VisioWave, a digital video company acquired by General Electric in 2005. This success results from combining a solid management experience, strong expertise in marketing and good strategic skills, know-how in the leadership of large scale projects, and mastering of embedded systems, digital video and network technologies.
 

Management Team

Yann Guyonvarc’h, CEO

Yann Guyonvarc’h is SpinetiX’ Chief Executive Officer, leading the sales and marketing success of the company. Yann previously founded and directed VisioWave, a leading high technology company specialized in digital video security solutions counting more than 100 employees and sold to General Electric in 2005. Yann brings to SpinetiX his strong marketing experience and entrepreneurship skills. Yann holds a master degree in mathematics from the University of Paris IX Dauphine.

Didier Roncin, CTO

Didier Roncin is SpinetiX' Chief Technical Officer, steering the company on the edge of innovation. With an experience of thirty years, from his undergraduate days at the Université de Vincennes, to his pioneer works at academic and private research centers: IRCAM, INRIA, Digital Equipment Corporation, Université Leonard de Vinci, he has been participating in the introduction of new computing technologies in electronics, media and networks. As co-founder of VisioWave and SpinetiX, Mr Roncin brings along a solid entrepreneurial experience and promotes active research to drive product development towards the future.

Francesco Ziliani, COO

Francesco Ziliani, PhD, is SpinetiX’ Chief Operation Officer, directing the company strategic operations and product marketing. Francesco has a background on digital network and video technologies and is author and coauthor of several patents and international publications. After his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne, he developed his project managing and team leading skills on technology projects within VisioWave, the ISO/ITU MPEG international committee and General Electric.

Jean-Claude Michelou, R&D Manager

Jean-Claude Michelou is SpinetiX’ R&D manager, leading the company’s development effort to build groundbreaking products. After graduating from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris (X94), Jean-Claude has held numerous research and engineering positions in Silicon Valley startups such as AltaVista and BigVine. He then co-founded VisioWave where, as vice president for R&D and chief software architect, he developed the video streaming technology that secures hundreds of public transportation systems worldwide. At SpinetiX he brings along his experience in the development of large scale, networked software infrastructures and complex technology project management.
